Someday you'll get the vette. Just practice saying NO, when the kids are older and keep asking for the keys.
Start now. Sit on the couch in front of the TV. Just keep repeating No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!
At least everybody in the household will be prepared for when you get the vette
Be patient and enjoy life. At least there is a great forum to help you cope.

I have had 4 girls and 2 boys and still have last two girls at home...
...Pastoring the church and family will always take precedence over StuzVette...
Some weeks or weekends its like not having StuzVette at all...
...maybe in the future you will have it ByFaithMan...

most people would trade their Vette for a wife and kids. I know I would.

Keep the faith and the motivation. Got my first one in 1989, an 88 4+3 red coupe; great little car. But I had already passed my 54th birthday; paid for the house and cars and sent the offspring into the world eauipped to survive.
Then I did something solely for me, and it was and has been a greatr decision. The 88 was replaced by a 96 in 2000, and the 96 replaced by a 2004 in 2004. Life can be good, just don't rush it.

Not to worry..... You have your priorities in order. The kids are number 1. Your Vette is out there and will come to you in good time.
In the meantime, hang out here and keep your dream alive.

A vette is very small in the big picture of life, all things come to he who waits. Hang in there.
