If I put in a Partition when I add headers will the partition offset the increased interior noise of the headers. I know this applies to two different areas of the car but I would like headers and do not want more interior noise. Are any brand of headers quiter than any others.
I Have Kook's Headers, X-Pipe, Hi-Flo Cats, Borla Stinger Quads, and a partition, with the windows up and the stereo cranking engine "noise" is not bad, but windows down and the partition is pretty much a non factor. But then personally I really like the sound and the more the better, with my MTI X1 cam my baby makes me smile all the time..
If you're worried about noise skip the headers. When I first got my car back I thought it was a bit loud, but it grows on you. You begin to like it more than the stereo. The down side is it is a little more difficult to carry on a conversation with the windows down. I am running Dynotech LT's and X-pipe with Borla exhaust. Love the combo it sounds great!

Reason: Spelling
The partition keeps out the noise but the drone remains.
I have longtubes with Borlas and a partition and the noise is always my co-pilot.
Damn!
Put a partitian on my car before stingers. It did keep out the drone of the rear tires at speed. The stingers added good sound and the LG Pro LTs... well that is another story. I love them. They do make more of an impact when they are new, but the get more quiet as they break in, or you get used to them. Go for it and you will not be sorry
