Had to jump the vette tonight. Haven't driven much in several months, but ran the radio while washing/waxing for about 1.5 hours & then couldn't get it started. Jumped it, got it started, but everytime I tried to put it in gear & go, it would die. Voltage gauge reads 13.0V. Time for a new battery, or is there some other potential problem?

what battery is currently in it? If its stock get rid of it no matter what.. also what year vette is it? Cause the stock battery prior to 2001 = a no no to keep.. i almost found that out the hard way.. it can leak and ruin your computer!
Is it still under warranty, the battery is between the bumpers? When you put the new battery invest in a battery maintainer not a charger and should help eliminate your problem with not driving much.
