Corvette Ground Clearance
I am shipping my 1998 Corvette cross country to my new location and I need to know the ground clearance. It needs to have at least 4 inches. Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks.

It depends how you measure it. I can't fit the toe of my boot under the front, but the side has lots of clearance. If you're worried about the clearance, adjust the ride height bolts to give yourself the space you need.

I think the lowest part on my car is the front plastic air dam - I recently measured it and it was right at 4" off the ground. The car is stock height.

The nose will barely clear a curb, but the front spoiler that scrapes the ground is about 3 inches. I measured it once just for kicks. I'm sure each vette various a couple sentimeters though.
If you must have 4 inches to clear something, I wouldn't count on it, to close for confort.
