headlight problem on 99 coupe

headlight problem on 99 coupe
when i turn on the light switch,sometimes it takes 10 seconds for them to pop up.and once when switching them from bright back to normal they just went out. does n e one else have this problem and know what it is or how to fix it?

Sounds like a headlight control module. I haven't actually experienced this but having just rebuilt my headlight motors I researched whether I should do the module at the same time. Use the search function and do a little research I think you'll agree. Good Luck!

Your multi purpose light/turnsignal/dimmer switch has a broken wire in it. The next time you have this problem, move your tilt wheel up and down as you turn on the lights. I'll bet that the lights pop up right away.
The problem is that the wiring harness from the switch that runs down through the steering column gets bent/flexed each time you move the tilt wheel. After a time the wire(s) get broken.
