i just bought my first corvette the other day, its an 85. but the headlights dont come up, is there a way to diagnose this, maybe some steps i can take to narrow the possibilities, thanks for any help

You would get better help posting this in the C4 section...but if you are getting power to them...my money is on the gears that wind them up...those are notorious for stripping out...made of plastic...if no power- check the fuses etc...
C4 section will help!
