Took me about 5-6 before I got my first wave back, but now I've gotten 2 in a row. I have come to the conclusion that if the weather is nice and the person has a vert with the top up, they never wave back.
I catch myself snoozing once in a while, or opposing traffic prevents seeing each other, but I always wave whether I'm here in Orlando or anywhere else.
Heck, the other day I saw a C5 go by on a roll-back and almost waved at the roll-back driver, so strong is the urge.
I wave all the time. I get the same thing, probably a 60% return wave rate at best around orlando.

I agree with Max at 60%.....however did have a young lady in a C5 talking on a cell phone go out of her way to wave!! Made my day just thinking about her athletic ability to do that....all hands and phone !!
I was sitting at a stop sign the other day in my C-5 and another C-5 passed. I gave him a big wave, and he and the passenger just gave me a glaring stare. I went ahead and got on the four lane in the next lane over from him. (by now I had pretty much forgotten about the wave) I passed the guy up and my wife said "Is that someone you know from the club?" I looked over and the driver was waving at us. I don't know if that was his first wave or not, but it made me feel like there may be hope for "the wave." If we just keep on waving, some of those who don't get it, may figure it out.
