Has anyone had any experience with kwik lifts? Looks like a great product for home use. Just wonder how practical? About ready to pull the trigger on this, would like any and all opinions. And, if you do have one, what all do you do with it and is it worth the money? Thanks tc
I have had my kwiklift for a couple of years, I have changed many exhausts, installed my long tube headers, replaced starters, changed oil.......etc. For my needs it made the most sense, sure it would of been nice to have a full size lift but that was not an option for me.
Ive had mine for about a year. They are worth the money if you dont have room for a regular lift. Im considering selling mine and going with a 4 post lift.
I had a kwik lift went to a 4 post to store extra car. You can do most mods and service on kwik lift. I would recomend it if a 4 post is not an option.
I love it .. didnt have room for a 4 post. If you can get a 4 post in , go for that,, but if you cant ,, get a kwik lift..
I park on mine , the only pain is jacking up an down when I park. But I only drive th car on weekends, so it aint a big deal.
if you own a vette and work on it, you need a lift

With all of the above. Except I park on it at an angle. When I want to work on it I just jack it up and go to it.

I'm also looking into a lift, but I want to be able to pull the wheels, with the kwik lift it would be much harder, has anyone looked at these lift's, what are pro's con's let me know.

It's not hard at all to remove the wheels with the kwiklift when you use the centerbridge. The centerbridge can be placed anywhere on the lift, you just use a bottle jack and lift the car at the crossmembers and place blocks or jackstands where the pucks are. The wheels can then be removed and you still have access underneath. The kwiklift isn't for everyone it just depends on what you are looking for. The first lift in your link is one of the first that I considered for the ease of getting the wheels off but then you don't have unobstructed access underneath the car. The kwiklift is the only way to do both for a lot less than a 4 poster and it is portable.
Quick question, all you guy's with the kwiklift's I know it gets the car up 20" at the wheel, but will that be enough hight to install a set of Dynatech headers I know the passenger side goes in from the top but what about the driver's side.

I havent done the install that you ask about, BUT, I have done 2 transmissions, a nine inch ford rear, and a complete engine install. Had MORE than ample room.

W/o a doubt I could have installed my LGs with my Kwiklift. Only reason I didn't is I installed them at a friend's dyno shop to do before/after runs, so I used his lift there.

I installed my FLP long tubes with plenty of room to spare.
