I like the looks of them but don't like them covering the fog lamps. Maybe if he put an opening to give the fog lamps a clear shot, the I might go for them.
I definitly agree ! After having to remove my Z06 grilles in order to pass Virginia State Inspection. I would be a lot more interested in these ,if the fog light was uncovered.
If they are like the ones from Ecklers and MA they just stick in with 2 side 3M tape I think the look great but like the ones from Ecklers better. My bad I did not read the the description. wonder how they do mount.

I thought the same thing, so I asked just how these were mounted. His reply was:
"When I got my '03 I wanted to fill the empty spaces and did not like the look of the Z06 mesh screens so I made my own from the polished stainless steel. I am an unemployed engineer and have access to a machine shop where I make them all. Just trying to make ends meet for now. If you look inside the fog light opening, you will see a small tab on the top of the bumper fascia opening that has a slot in it. It is above and slightly outside of the fog light lens. I resistance weld on a small angle bracket with a hole in it and use a firtree fastener pushed into the slot. The grill is CNC machined and fits snugly in the interface between the fascia and the black plastic on the bottom. Because the top of the black plastic slopes downward the grill fits right in. I went through a couple of design changes until I made this style which works great."

Not too bad looking, but I like the look of the original Z06 screens better. I just like the screens when the mount flush with the outer edge of the fog light area.
Home depot gutter screen. Go get some, about $40 cheaper.
No shiot - looks very very similar to the gutter screen I saw at Lowe's last night.
(The gutter screen is used to keep stuff like leaves out of your guttering so that it doesn't get clogged up.)

Gutter screens is a term, this "screen" can be found in a roll, for heating and A/C fliters, gutters etc. They come stainless and painted and rubberized.
Its funny, I say Home Depot and people think it is a cheap rip off. You can get the screen at any hardware store. In any type (stainlees etc) It is just not pre-cut to the shape.
But excuse me for trying so save you 95% on a screen. Like the Key hole delete mod I posted awhile back that can be done for 45 cents and not 30 bucks like advertised.

Zilla,
What did you use for the rubber around the screen edge?
I replaced the mesh in the OEM Z06 Screen with the stainless steel.
The plastic housing can be separated into 2 pieces then reattached afterwards. Here is a picture.
I was in the process of making a set of screen without the plastic housing and found that automotive door edge trim works wells.
