The retaining ring that compresses the spring down on the swivel post/pipe came off. Has anyone had and fixed this? I think I could get it if the mirror was not in the way. Does the mirror come /snap out without doing damage? E-mail me at Davidmsnerd@AOL.com.
Thanks, D. Marter.
The common DIY fix for that is to just put a screw through both the movable part and the base. Your mirror won't pivot any more, but it's a cheap and easy fix.
