Default A roof storage question

I intend to take my roof off my 03 soon if it ever stops rainning here i have the bag to put the roof in and store it in the deck of the car but i have seen some people talk about taking the roof in the house and storing it upside down which is better using the rubber holders in the back of the car which the roof fits on or storing it in the house?

Assuming you only have one roof and you don't need the additional space in the hatch area, I would prefer to keep it in the car personally. It's nice to have it around in case you want / need to put it on.

I have both roofs and made a metal rack with roll bar padding so I can stand it on the front edge. That way no rubber is mashed

Default up side down under the bed

Wrap in blanket and store upside down under the bed in spare bedroom on the carpet. Out of sight and safe.....

Have mine in a protective bag and stored on a set of mounts bought from a forum member a while ago. I made the wheel hangers myself to store my stock wheels/tires after that.

Personally, I always take my roof with me just in case a rain storm pops up. But if you are not worried about that, storing it upside down with a cover/blanket wrapped around it should be just fine.
