Polish "inside" tailpipes?
Anyone ever polish the insides of their tailpipes? I'm just asking? I would never think of anything like that, no sir re bob, na-na, never, gotta be a fuc**** nut to think of that.
Ok- so - I was bored, had a few beers, looks nice though.

I haven't done it, but I have seen it done at judged Corvette shows. Maybe that's why I haven't taken a first place in one.

I polish the inside of my pro tips. Makes the air come out faster = 20hp increase and they look great while doing it.

Whaddaya mean? Doesn't everyone?!?! With what I paid for my Corsa Tiger Shark exhaust, I polish the tips inside and out every time I wash and detail the car. Gotta keep 'em shiny and pretty!!!!!! They do get a little sooty from driving it and look so much better when you polish it off.
Of course that's where my Forum Name and license plate came from. My friends say that I am sooooo **** about Corvettes that I am Disturbed!!!!!!

Do ours for every car show, and just for the heck of it, every time we drive them out

I did when I first had my Stingers installed... couldn't stand to see the nice shiny insides of the tailpipes getting dirty! Just used an old sponge and soapy water.
Cheers,
Ian.

I have seen that area used as a tie breaker in judged shows...so mine are always clean and polished
