i raced a red c6 when my '01 z06 was bone stock (341rwhp)
i put right around a car to car n' a half on him from 60 to 120'ish
pulled over and found out it was an auto.. maybe if he had a m6 it would of been closer from a roll

Check out the " Corvette Kills " site and go down the list of street races, it shows a guy in an 01Z racing a guys in a C6, they race four times and then changed cars to see if it was the driver and the Z kicked the C's a$$ big time every time, even when the switched drivers.

I still don't understand the doubt. Dave Hill has said so many times, the C6 is not as fast as the C5 Z. Why do folks doubt him?

here's something to back up the dave hill statement I made above...I can't seem to find him saying the 85% thing but this pretty much nails it right on the head

I enjoy the rumble and low end punch with never ending pulling throughout the RPM's with my LT4.
I enjoy the rigidity of chassis and high frantic wail of the LS6 on my Z06.
I enjoy the stump pulling power and character of my friend's L98.
I love the 'ahead of its time and classic styling' of the C1's and C2's
...etc....
But mostly I enjoy getting to know the diverse walks of life and character of vette owners..... good people each and everyone.......
