I have mine so it 'shoots' just past my right ear. Keeps it in line of sight where it's far more noticeable. If I have the top off and/or music going, the thing is hard to hear even on max volume. Plus, I can 'hide' it with my visor when I park, so it cant' be seen from outside the vehicle even with the roof off.

Mine's tucked up to the right of the mirror in the tint area and hardwired to the fuse panel. Can't see it from outside and it works very well
