my first vette
i finally did it and at only 20yrs old too. 
i saw the car listed locally and figured why not check it out.(bad idea) i was instantly hooked from the first time i drove it and knew i would have to have the car. i went back the next morning and picked it up. its a 2002 black on black Z06(only the best for me) has the heads up, dual climate, memory, and chromies. 
the only picture i have thats worth showing is... 
thats my moms 05 rubicon, brothers scort and the family burb in the corner. i have let others drive the car and they are left in shock and aww by this cars performance. 
ill post up some more once i find a decent wax and get it all cleaned up. the part thats killing me though is he fact ill have to leave my baby for a week before it ships out to hawaii and then wait even longer for it to arrive from the mainland.

Let me be the first to say congrats and to welcome you to the family. The Z is a marvelous car and responds to mods very nicely. You can almost custom build a C5 with all the after market accessories available.
I'd suggest two mods right away. Both sould only cost you about $80. First install the CAGS by-pass, this will allow you to control the transmission and not some computer, and second buy a steering column lock by-pass (bought mine from Thunder Racing for $55). Both are simple plug and play mods that are worth the time and effort.
Again, congrats on the new Z and keep the shiny side up.
