One year I was in Palm Spring and the temp was around 105. I started to feel light headed and put the top up and turned on the ac. Lets not have a heat stroke!!

I drove around today at 108 with the top down, no problem. But I am a native Arizonan, and anything below 75 is cold for me. For me it can't get too hot for the top to be down.
When I bought mine the Sales Mgr (fellow Vette owner) said in AZ there is a 50/100 rule. Under 50 the top is up and over 100 it's up, otherwise the top is to be down.
I'm not quite an AZ native but I've been here longer than AZ C5's been alive, so I consider myself a native. He's right when he says 75 seems cold to us.
it was about 98 today.. took the top off went to the store and put the top back on and turned on the AC couldnt take it anymore... when the booty starts sweating from just sitting down thats when its too hot

Never. If it's not raining the top is down. I lived in AZ from 1990 to 1997 with a C4 vert. At 115 the top was still down and no A/C running. I like it hot. Anything below 85 is too cold.

Top down for me between 60 and about 110. My wife gets cold below about 75, but she's game all the way up to about 110. It also depends on the destination. If we're going out she'd rather have the top up when it's real hot like it was yesterday (about 115). But on the way home, it's top down!
If you're gonna wait for the perfect conditions to go top down - you're gonna find yourself driving around in a top up a lot.
I draw the line at 90 in my coupe, as long as it's not a "humid" 90. If the humidity is high, then 85. I'm a computer geek too used to working in data centers...every year it get's harder and harder for me.
