How difficult is it to take off the cowl?

You have to take off the hood first and then loosen up the screws from the inside of the cockpit, so you'll have to take the dash apart as well.

I'm j/k ... accoring to this, it's a one wrench out of 5 so it should be too hard ... Good luck.

Take off both wipers (10mm I think) and 4 or 5 push pins....takes about 10 minutes max.

Does anyone happen to have a GM part number for the complete cowl? The rubber seal that runs the length of the cowl where it meets the windshield has come loose. Or, if anyone had this problem and has a fix, it would be appreciated!

Maniac,

All you have to do is place some silcone clear on it and push it back under the windshield. That will make it stay in place. It happen to me and that's what I did to put it back.

Or you can get an entirely new one from the dealer for 94 bucks.
That's with the black plastic cowl and the rubber piece attatched.
