I agree, the clear or white one's look way better. Again depends on what color the car is.
GT-HUNTER, what color are you getting? did you ever get the directions worked out?
I'm getting Millenium Yellow w/mod red
I actually like the ambers because I got the sense that the clears (when not on) looked like reverse lights (in addition to the actual reverse lights).
It just looked like too many clear lights in the back for me. But I hear you on the look...I had a 2003 TL-S and I liked the turn signals (amber bulbs under clear lenses) much better than the 2002 (amber lenses).
on edit: Actually I called the Dealer like you guys suggested and he said he would send someone to pick me up at the Airport... No getting lost...no paying a Taxi...thanks to y'all

Oh yea, I forgot, I saw your yellow Z yesterday from that picture you posted. Looks awesome, I know you're going to love it.
I'd change my origional statement of going with the clear since you're getting a yellow vette, I'd stick with the tail lights with the yellow instead of clear. Good choice.
Glad to hear that dealership is taking care of you. Anything us Texacans can do to help, just let us know.....if need be, I'll test drive it for you and tell you how it feels.....you know just so you'll sleep better till you get it.

Actually, Matt from Autocritic.com already did. He said usually when he's driven used cars they always give something away...a squeak here...a creak there...but he said this one didn't say a thing....
In fact he says that the leather on the seats is still tight feeling and that the interior as a whole looks like a new car. Tires are still good and breaks are about 50%/70%.
Overall I think it was a good choice and a GREAT price...thanks in part to all here.

I don't know that I completely agree with the "foreign" comment. I mean, my thought was that modifying the overall look of the car to something it wasn't was more Ricey. When I saw this it looked like a very subtle touch to give your car a sense of uniqueness.
But the reason I brought it to the forum was because, personally, I kinda like the Tigershark front and rear fascia kit...and boy that scared the hell outta me cause I always laughed at all the Civic Rice Burners with body kits but I actually didn't think the Tigershark was bad looking.
It was then that I imagined what I could do not realizing it's rice content... ::shivers::
The vette with a fart-pipe and shooting off the line sounding like "wahhhhhhhhh, d-ding ding ding ding....wahhhhhhhhh"
God it gave me night sweats....
Keep 'em coming...I wanna hear what everyone has to say...

I hear ya on the body kit thing ... I think "rice" is open to interpretation. When you see a car that's got more money in accessories (i.e. rims and/or stereo, body kit, etc.) than the car is worth ... rice ... but that's just my opinion. When I see that stuff, I just thank God I'm blessed enough to have a car like mine right now. And unless the driver does something like rev a 4 cylinder at me ... depending on my mood ... I may oblige.
Goes without saying, "It's you money ... your car."
Why are you so self conscious that you have to ask someone else might think it's rice or not? If you like it, do it. Who cares what someone on here may think.

I'm not self-conscious about the car or myself. I just don't want to be a hypocrit. I've always criticized RICE and now I don't want to put any on my car.
Everyone knows what RICE is but sometimes you forget...that's why I asked.
Definitely not rice IMHO. I have the same Euros on my Black Vert and they look great. I added sequential turn signals and really like the overall look. You won't be sorry - Barry

I assume this means that when you signal to turn...the inside blinker comes on first then the outside one, then they turn off and repeat...right?
If so...I'd like to know how you did it...always liked that and I would like to have it done...
