Interesting Brake lights

Interesting Brake lights
Pulled in behind a beautiful yellow and black vert today and drove up to a red light. Yellow vert applies the brakes and I see both right hand lights come on then it flashes over to both left. Brakes lights continue to flash in pairs back and forth alternating sides. I didn't know this was legal. Anyboby run across this setup in your area?

Looked at the product in the store section and sequential tail lights are not what he had. Both right brake lights were on at the same, time and then it flashed over to both lefts. It continued to flash from side to side until he let off the brakes. The product in the store section is for turn signals. Anyone?

The Blink Blink's aren't working. I have sequentials that I also got from Webelectric......great vendor to work with for these.

Here's an example of what it should look like when right turn signal. When applying brake they are solid, like delivered from factory. Everyone that I've showed it too so far has liked it but I'm sure its not for everyone! I think it cost $99 w/shipping.
