I finally made the switch over from magnesium to chrome wheels, keeping the same tires and sensors. One overlooked aspect however is the fact that the visible stem part of the sensor looks as if it is designed to match up with the former mag wheels and not the chrome (it looks a bit out of place with the shiney surroundings)

Has any one else switched from magnesium wheels to a chrome wheel, while keeping the same tire sensors? If so what did you do about this (assuming there is a solution other then replacing the tire senors). Thanks

I have chrome wheels and am using the same sensors on the car as were on my high polished wheels. The valve stems are not polished. At one time West Coast Corvettes had a kit you could buy that gave your valve stems a chromed look - not sure if they still sell it but could be worth a call.
