Yep, I have this game. I got the PS2 version, altho I originally wanted the X-Box version because it is Online enabled.

Then I realized I only really wanted it so that I could look at a CGI rendition of my car in motion when I cant be out actually driving it. At only 10 bucks, its a steal.

Its not a bad game....good selection of Corvettes. But I prefer my "Need For Speed 2: Hot Pursuit" for a really addictive and fun racing game. It has a nice C5 Z06 in it too, and you can race Vipers, Lambo's, Prancing Ponies and all sorts of German and world supercars.

Right now at work we are designing and illustrating the package and ad art for a new Need For Speed game for X-Box and PS2. There is a Corvette police car on part of the cover and we actually photographed my black C5 to create parts of the image (The final is mostly a c6 Z06 tho...but the side mirrors and windshield are my car...woo hoo! Famous car...not really!).

Not sure if this belongs in this forum or in the "OT" area, but Im glad I had an excuse to blab about my car. Haha!

PS...the coolest realization I had after buying the Corvette PS2 game is that for a lot of people, thats as close as they can come to driving a car I get to enjoy every day. Gyad, Im lucky! And spoiled! Counting my blessings!

 

I saw the C5 screen shot and thought it would be fun for us C5 guys to fill that bad weather need for speed. I'll have to check out some of those other games. Keep us posted.

 

i have the game for x-box and i would rate the actual game play as about a 5 out of 10. really not that great - you get no car damage at all no matter how much you screw up.

the grafics however are cool because you can pretty much get almost every vette in almost any color from its inception to 2003. when i was shopping around i picked up the game new for about $10.00 - hence the 5 out of 10 stars.

 

Been talked about here many times. It's a terrible game. Not even worth the $10.

 

I had to buy this game because It was an all corvette racing game, but yes it sucks.

 

Play forza motorspot for XBOX. Plenty of vettes in it and the game kicks ****

 

The Corvette game is ok.....mostly because it's only $10 though......

But NFS Hot Pursuit is AWESOME! My son LOVES that game and I really like playing it with him! The only bummer is that he knows all the shortcuts and I don't so I can never catch him.....

 

Dude... the game is pretty weak. Just because racin other Vettes gets a little old fast. The handling isn't all that great either. OH WELL!!!

 

it's not that hot as mentioned above..it would have been awesome if it was created with the depth of a 'grand turismo'....they should have asked for input from the people @ corvetteforum.com before they created it..

 

I bought it for $9.99. Paid about $9.00 too much.

i got it for ps2 and game boy advanced. the game boy version is pretty cool to play at work when i get bored....

 

it would be good for rainy days if the game was worth anything
