Forum member Teamspeed sells the wire you are looking for. It will work with the V1 or the Passport 8500.

I bought recently for a V1 and couldn't be happier. Hardest part about the install was getting the plug out of the back of the mirror.

With the connector I received from Teamspeed I didn't even need to pull the plug. The connectors just "push" into the back of the plug, real simple.

I used a pair of needle nose pliers to put pressure on the clip and pull towards the front of the car. I couldn't tell where to push in the connector pins without removing the plug. It worked for me.
