I'll make it quick! Did a quick burn-out in first, hit rev limiter for a second, pulled up 10 yards, parked went back to work. One hour later I started it up and holy shizzits Noisy noisy lifters with a low oil pressure display. 0 oil pressure for about 30 seconds then back to the norm. Off ,then on, no noise. after 30 mins same thing no oil pressure then all fine. now oil press. at 21psi at idle up on revs. Did something take a $hit. or did oil just ?

Sounds like you took out some main or rod bearings. Was the engine cold when you did your burn out? what viscosity is your oil? Some times when your engine is cold and the oil is thick it hangs around the top end and doesnt flow down to the pump fast enough causing the bearings to oil starv causing failure. All this equals inconsistant/no oil pressure.I have been there, just a thought.

I can't attest to what is wrong, but the since your car is a 2004 it's under warranty. Call a dealership and have it towed. If you're running the car with 0 oil pressure for 30 seconds you already have done damage to the motor.

Any update on your problem? I'd be interested to see what truly was the culprit.

Good luck with the fix. Hope there's no serious damage done.
