i boughut al knoch seat covers for the vette.very nice work by those guys!so,i call the local dealer...not a clue there...i call an uposterer...8 hours to install????520 bucks???anybody know if that's accurate???this is when i miss living back home in new rochelle the most!!!up country over here is like mayberry sometimes!!!
Jesse: Did you think about doing it yourself? THere are soem excellent - detailed install instructions on the Vette Essentials website. Take a look there. Not sure what upholsters are getting on a per hour basis, but I would think about 4 hrs per seat is about right.......
PS: Sun Visor being mailed out today. Are you up by Northville by any chance? I spent 4 months up there on a project last year and agree with your "Mayberry" assessment......
i might be,i don't know where northville is!i'm 2 minutes from lake george.nice area and all,but lacking in certain vette necessities! so,8 hours total is about right then.that;s what one guy told me and it just seemed like alot.thanks and i'll be looking for the visor.have a good weekend.

When I bought my Vette Essentials covers, I had a local upholstery shop install them. Cost me $100 for both seats and took the guy about 2.5 hours to do the job. What you are being quoted is way, way too high for a seat cover install.
