Even if you car was the last 2000 built(mid July 00) it is too late to put a "normal" GMPP on it. July of 03 was the last month that could have been done. That said-IF you know a "friendly" dealer he could put on a GMPP policy as if he just sold you the car as a used car. Very pricey but may be worth it if you have a higher mileage car or know of a problem that is very expensive to fix.
oh,and by the way,if you belong to a credit union, try them also!i found out last night on this forum that one can be had thru them.i'm checking one out tomorrow at mine!not gmpp, but we'll see how it stacks up.
Ken will most likely not be able to help you. He would want to see the car.
I went through all this when I was running out of time on my 97.
In 97 you could only extend for 3 years(6 years total) the 2000 could have had a 7 year from in service date extended. I was able to cover my car up through 2005 with extensions(very expensive but was really worth it in the long run).
Saw your earlier post about this car.
With a little work and the right dealer you should be able to put a GMPP on this car.
BTW be VERY careful with other aftermarket warranty companies. You should be able to do a search on this forum to see what other members have to say. GMPP is IMO the only way to go if possible.
