If anything, a little bit darker, but pretty close to the same shade - we had one in our club, & I couldn't really tell the difference unless the cars were parked side-by-side.

nope...it is more like Pewter without the gold additive. I had a Pewter WS6 Trans AM before my Machine Silver 04 C5 and can say that they have the same darkness and metallic flake...the Machine Silver just has no gold.
