Default Big weekend!

"Have a nice little Saturday planned." - Will Farrell, Old School.

My brother-and-law and I have a pretty big Corvette Weekend. We have 3-4 projects lined up that may move on well into Saturday. Here are our projects lined up thus far:

- Painting calipers on his '98 coupe and my '01 coupe
- Installing Z06 grilles all around on both cars
- Installing hood weather seal on both cars
- Removing (or attempting to remove) curb rash on 2 of my wheels
- Full detail, possibly including Zaino (if we have time).

I have a lot of good instruction on the first 3 mods, but was curious if any of you have any last minute advice? We think we have our game plan pretty nailed down (mostly in regards to the calipers and grille screens), but were curious if any of you ran into any notable snags while doing these mods?

Thanks everyone, and have a great holiday weekend!

The only one I've done is the hood seal. Make sure you clean the area that gets the sticky stuff from the seal really well. I used denatured alcohol and have had no problems with the hood seal coming loose.

Wanna do my calipers since I can never find the time to do them myself?

Sounds like fun, the results will make it worth while, I just removed some curb rash on one of my wheels, wasn't too bad a job, I outlined the process in the thread, run a search in general for "Curb Rash", it also has some pics of the before and after.

You really should not have any problems with any of those mods. Just be sure to get those calipers really clean before you paint.
