Rant 00 vert on Ebay
There is a Torch Red 00 vert on Ebay right now in Harriman NY, I saw it about a week ago in person as I am looking to buy, the car is in nice shape(first impressions) but not great (even though their asking a price like it's great) the ad on Ebay says it has 33+K on it, when I saw it it actually has 37+K on it. Carfax says it had 35+K on it Oct. of 04, so I thought something doesn't smell right here and e-mailed the dealer asking for the mileage to see what they would say, well....
1st they respond and say the real mileage is visible in the pictures.....it's not I checked, so I e-mail again
2nd they say the car is 32K, so I e-mail again... and say I'm not requesting price but miles
3rd they reply it has 35k miles and came in with 33K and they used it for a demo (keep in mind the car has 37K now and last year had 35K with the previous owner)
so how could they have gotten it with 33K?
and last but not least...
the driver side door sags and in the pass. side doorjamb there is a heavy orange peel like it was repainted even though it shows clean on Carfax.
I feel bad if someone wins it without knowing all the facts, hope they see this rant.

Yup, that's why you don't buy a car or house or anything with out first checking it out in person. That's very strange though. E-bay usually imposes very strick rules on the description of all the merchandise. Hope someone doesn't get taken.

Don't know about everyone, but if I am spending that kind of money, I will check out the thing first. Sounds like the buyer may be in for an unpleasant surprise if they don't.
