Default Check Engine - No Codes

Hello all. I am hoping that one of you can shed some light on my issue. I bought a used 2003 Z06 with about 8K miles on it back in March. About 2 months ago, I installed a Halltech Stinger. Other than that, the car is stock aside from the CAGS defeat (which was already on it when I bought it).

Everything with the install went fine, no codes or anything after it was in. Car has driven prefectly every time before and since. Today out of nowhere my check engine light came on (steady no blinking), but the DIC didn't show any codes. I pulled over immediately and got the manual out. After reading over the CEL section, the only thing that came to mind was the Stinger. After reading this post http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...F&forum_id=103 I was concerned that perhaps the oil from the filter had gunked up my MAF. I just pulled off the Stinger and ran my finger around the inside of the front of the MAF and it is dry as a bone and no filth came off of it. i could see no signs of excessive oil anywhere. Just to be on the safe side, I went ahead and gently cleaned the wires on the MAF with rubbing alcohol and a Q-Tip. The light still comes on even after driving it around for a bit.

I guess I have two questions:

1. Any ideas as to what is causing the light to come on? O2 sensor, etc.
2. Even though I cannot see any signs of excessive oil, should I be worried about the dealer and the Halltech Stinger considering the post about the TSB and excessive oil from aftermarket air filters?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I also posted this in the C5 General section.

You will have to pull up the codes, they don't just 'APPEAR'!!
After you get the codes, you find out what they are and correct the situation causing them!!
Mine is running so good, I forgot how to show the codes on the DIC!!
But I do have a listing to tell you what the numbers mean!!
Key on, hit options, then fuel four times, some sh*t like that!!

here's how to access the trouble codes on your DIC

You can acess all of the cars trouble codes from the dic and erase them! Here is what you do: Press and hold options and then press Fuel 4 times while still holding the options button you must do this quickly. A message will appear saying "Diagonstics" then it will automatically read off the codes. Like....02-PCM(No codes)....03-BCM(No Codes)...ect. if there is a code it will look something like this 02-PCM (1052H) NOTICE THE H at the end of the code, That represents a code that has happened in HISTORY. If there is a C after the code it is CURRENT. To clear the codes let it automatically cycle through the codes then it will come to (MANUAL DIAGNOSTICS) this is where you can clear codes. Use the options button to scroll forward and the TRIP to scroll backward find the code(s) to be erased like 02-PCM (2Codes). To erase this, press and hold the reset button until it says "NO CODES" There you have done it!!!. To exit the Diagonstic menu press the METRIC BUTTON!!!

OK. Here is what I found. The only "Current" code is 10 PCM 1416. This code also has an H so it would appear that this has happened before. After researching this code I found that P1416 = passenger side check valve. Seems like that has nothing to do with the MAF or oily filters so I should be OK with the dealer. Plenty of of warranty left so they should replace it. Have to wait until Monday I guess
