Default A "different" exhaust question.

I know this has been talked to death, but I have a bit of a different approach. I am not looking for loud ,but a nice quiet V8 rumble for my 2000 cpe. I have magnesium wheels. What do you think about Z06 ti exhaust for looks and sound. Anyone know how they sound on a M6 cpe? Any one have a wav file? What are ti's costing used these days?

The Ti exhaust would be a good choice - it has a little deeper sound than the one you have now and weighs a little bit less. And I have seen some that have been polished up to look fantastic.

If you want quiet the Ti's are the way to go. Imho they are just slightly louder than stock, not very aggressive but smooth and a small improvement over stock. You can't beat their light weight, fit & finish and nice tips for the money. A nice used set will usually go between $400 and $450 these days. Look for them in the For Sale section. Sometimes they go fast so jump on a set if you see them (try and get pic's too).

Ti's with headers, hi-flow cats and 'x' is quiet and mellow on street and highway, and roars at WOT.
