Keyfob question:
When I bought my '01 coupe, I recieved only one keyfob; (I was too excited to notice that at the time) and didn't realize there are actually two that go with the car, marked "1 and 2". I always wondered why I couldnt get the #1 memory seat to work.
My question is, and it may sound dumb; but can the #2 fob that I have be changed inside to be a #1? or am I doomed to be the #2 driver in my own car forever! (without actually paying money to GM for a #1 since I'm cheap).
Talk about being bothered by something stupid, I really need to get a life; ...... but I can't help it!...I don't want to be #2!

I am sure there is way to re-program it to the #1 memory settings, but wouldn't that cost more that just being a new fob?
May you could reverse the buttons in the car and put a 1 sticker on the FOB.
