Switching tires?
I have a non Z-51 with the standard run flats - how much quieter would the a non run flat tire be? - the runs flats seem to hit the smallest bump in the road so stiff - I am not looking for as cadillac ride but something that would gilde over road imperfections a little better.

I got a set of Goodyear F1 GS D3s (not run flats) a few weeks ago and like them quite a bit. One of the biggest things I notice is the ride improvement. I cross over a gate track every day and there was always a solid bump with the run flats, the new tires just soak it up.
I dunno about road noise... my car is a Vert so there is wind noise and I always have the stereo blasting and I never really noticed much from the tires

I just installed the KUMHO's ECSTA MX. So far they are very quite. Also I have no side sway around corners. I took them to the drags and had a hard time with "Hook up", so they are not to good for racing. But overall so far very satisfied. Go out to the Tire Rack.com and you can read the reviews and decide.
