A lot of members like "Grumpy," and enjoy having fun with him, therefore, having his "Grumpy," hat is a like a collector's item to some and a reason to have some fun.
It was put on ebay to raise funds that will go to the annual St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Fundraiser that I conduct on the Forum.
The hat will bring over $600.00, and that is a ton of money to help save a child's life at St. Jude
and other members are having fun doing it... 
If every member, (over 85,000), would give at least a dollar, think of the money we could give to this great cause...
