Mirror wiring connector
Does anyone know how to disconnect the harness from the mirror? I think there is a clip to depress to slide it out but I don't want to break it. There was thread on this, but I can't find it.
I would also appreciate advice on how to release the mirror from it's mount.
If you guessed that I'm mounting a V1 and installing the power lead you'd be right.

My mirror harness had a clip on it, I got it with a tiny screwdriver and it slid right out. As far as removing the mirror itself, mine was held on by an allen key. I loosened the key, and the mirror slid up and off of the tab. Hope this helps.
