Wish Me Luck

My car goes in to the dealer tomorrow to have the differential torn down and repaired/replaced. I had the dreaded leak so the L/H seal replaced last year (20K miles). Recently I noticed a grinding noise when turning a tight circle, left or right. I thought perhaps the clutch packs were noisy. Took it in and tech. says something internal. There's play in the axel where it enters the rear-end (tearing out the new seal) I'm paranoid of it sitting at the dealer for 4 or 5 days.

Thats probably what it will do, "sit" for most of the time. Its those few hours that someone is actually touching it and walking around it that ya' got to worry about!
