Typical politics, load a bunch of crap on a bill and next thing you know,it's shot down by the Senate, even if there is some good stuff on it. Maybe they'll redo a few things and send it back. Either way,I don't and won't run a front plate!

Yes 68stang, I've been stopped for this.Got stopped on a Mini-Nationals cruise night a few years back. There were a lot of streetrods and non-street legal stuff on the road. The LEO's were having a blast. I politlely reminded him of how he had to drive past drag slicks, open headers,clouds of tire smoke and cars with no headlights just to pick on me for not having a front plate. He waved me on with a warning!

Hang on a minute. I believe the bill if passed, was suppose to go into effect in September. I ain't so sure the bill was defeated.
It may have been defeated though because the Texas legislature knows how important it is to keep those convicts making those plates.
This might surprise you, but if it does past, I'll probably still keep my personalized "Mad Man" on the front any way.

I have never used a FLP, on my firebird, my '92 coupe and now on my 00' coupe. Only been questioned once, let go.
