amp question?

I just finished installing my alpine amp and I just realized that it does not turn off! Everything works fine, but when I turn the car off, the amp still stays on. It is still getting 10.4V Any one else have this problem or know how to fix it?

what is ur remote wire connected to, unhook the remote and if the amp turns off which it should it means ur remote is hooked up to the wrong place

Ill try that tomorrow. Do you know which wire it should connect to? I have a 00 c5 with bose system and indash cd player.
