Default Satellite Receiver Installation

This unit was installed in Circuit City for a little over $100.... they did a great job of hiding the wires & came-up with a good place to put the unit... in the "cupholder"! The cigarette lighter panel mounted on the dash is still accesible(sp?). Thanks to those of you who's photos of your installations served to help me with some ideas as far as location, I'm glad I didn't have it mounted on the dash as I first thought would have to be the case!

That is where I installed mine. Works fairly well there. C5 XTC

I went with the "totally hidden" look.

I was gonna put my Sirius in the cupholder as well..Did you have to take the center console out to do it? How is it mounted? Where did you put the antenna??

interesting photos & installations. one might as well use the "cupholder"; i've yet to find a single cup that could safely be perched in the cupholder. oh well, guess it's part of driving a vette....bub
