Default LS2 Intakes 199!

This month we're selling off all LS2 intakes for 199. This is a Genuine GM intake and it comes with the gaskets.

This is below GM dealer cost, about 25 dollars!

Any advantage to putting one of these on an LS6?

Certainly not with an LS6.

Have the LS2's intakes shown any advantage over the LS6 intake on a LS1? The LS2's seem to be declining in popularity.

I'm guessing the LS6 intake is a better match for the LS1 since it's the same displacement. Maybe the LS2 intake would be better if you had a stroker.

The testing that has been shown that the LS2 has a 90MM TB opening, but that is about its only advantage over an LS6.

The testing done by several folks have shown no gains over an ls6 in terms on HP, etc... If you could attach a 90MM neck to an Ls6 I think you'd make more power than an ls2.

I'm too tired this morning to dig up the stats on the plenum volume, etc...

In short, there is no benefit on going from an Ls6 to an Ls2

Over on ls1tech.com people actually lost power and went slower in the 1/4. I think the ls2 is more for bigger CI engines.

No, the Ls2 is simply not step forward design wise. Take an LS2 and put a FAST intake on it, and you'll see what I mean...
