Need Ramps for your C5?

About the Rhino Ramps, They are only designed for a 7 and 1/2 inch tire. They Skid. They're hollow (Not recommended at a grassy location). They do not work without modifications on C4's C5's and C6's. They are personally "scary" to me.
Thanks for your comments, I hope I can lean you the other way in the future. These ramps work and I'll stand by them.
Nice product. I'd buy them for $60, maybe $70. If you're going to stand by them at that price, get some comfy shoes.

...now will you lower the price please...
you know if you had them made in china...
...they wouldnt cost as much...
Ben B.
Actually... been there - done that (10" heigth). You can cut down on the length by changing ramp angles mid way.

.. whats wrong with the $40 Rhino ramps and talk about corvette tax ...
so if these were made for ferraris or lambos let me guess b/c of the new manufacturing process they would go for $500+...
Come on Ben who are you fooling here, just b/c we have an expensive taste for cars it doesnt mean were stupid

...I think you are after too much margin. When you get enough backstock the price will come down...
i drive up 2x4's and rhino ramps. as do many members here as they have already stated. cost me like $30 for the ramps.
no doubt you have a nice product, but your not going to sell at that price. honestly... i think even at $100 you would have a hard time selling.
good luck though!

when you try to advertise a product that already exists, you need to convince buyers that your product is MUCH better than your competitors. you need to explain why we should buy your product for $180 rather than rhino ramps for $30
so... ask yourself those questions and see what you come up with. then try to explain your reasoning to us. problem is, i dont think even you can come up with good enough reasons to support your price.
example:
rhino ramps only available in 1 size for $30
your ramps available in different sizes, which is a bonus for potential buyers... so you can justify increasing the price because you are offering something more than your competition. but how much of an increase? def. not $150!
but the other problem you run into is... whats wrong with the rhino ramps? what are the problems people are having?
these are the things you should have thought about before posting $180 product that we can get for much cheaper.
please dont take offense to this, but im just trying to show you where we are coming from.
and also as someone has already stated... business 101!!!
Rhino ramps go for less than 20 bucks on sale, and they are on sale once a month. I'll pass

The ad says that the ramps will support up to 2400lbs (per set)...what happens when you lift the rear (to get the rest of the oil to drain)? The Vette weighs 3,300 pounds...will those ramps support it?

At $60/set you might sell everyone on the forum a set but at $180 the potential client field narrows considerably.

You really DO believe that there is a sucker born every minute!!! You would have to be a complete fool to pay 180.00 plus $16.95 for shipping. Almost $200.00 for ramps
