National Backorder on Tailights?

My Z got rearended back in the middle of April. My car is almost ready but the body shop told me there was some kind of national backorder on the tailights for this car. Anyone else hear of this? I haven't driven my car for over six weeks and with the nice weather upon us now I'm going insane!

Why don't you have your body shop buy them from Ecklers, Mid America, etc. Heck, you might even be able to get the Euro taillights if you want.

There's quite a few used ones on the market as well - not quite like getting a new set, but you might be able to get your ride back on the road for $25-30.
