Default What's the difference in window tints?

I've got an appointment to have the windows tinted on my 2003 black/black Z06 tomorrow. I know next to nothing about the options, but the web site shows flat finish, charcoal based, dye/metal which is slightly shiny, 100%metal flat finish, 100% metal, mirror like charcoal based and ceramic technology, flat finish.

Can anyone help me out with a recommendation?

Thanks,

Doug

I did some window tinting when I was in High School. The main difference is quality. 3M and Madico are two Manufacturers that I would use. The rest just has to do with the way light is reflected by the tint. Some tint has a black, blue, bronze, and some have a mirror-like finish which is like a magnet to LEO's around here. Good Luck and post some pics when go get it back.

Go on what looks the best. The % is how dark. The lower the number the darker the tint. 3m and lumar tint has to be the best tint. I have factory tint and then 15% on top of that on the daily driver jeep.
