I'm a DIYer of the first order... 99 times out of a 100, I'd rather do it myself, even if it takes longer, even if I have to buy an expensive tool to do it, even if I have to buy a book to learn how to do it. I'm this way because 1) I enjoy learning to do new things, 2) I enjoy doing things myself, and 3) and know that if I apply myself, it will be done right and done better than all but the most expensive professional would have done it...
HOWEVER, this is my 1 time out of 100 that I opted for the "professional"... The Z06 screens actually come out nearly flush with the bumper (although I don't mind the recessed look actually). I got factory screens on eBay for pretty cheap... For the rest of the screens, VetteShop sells them for $37.99 and they're TERRIFIC!! It's just not worth the time and effort I'd have to spend to get it just right, when there are very affordable professional alternatives... All that said to say, I appreciate your desire to DIY and appreciate the effort it took, but I like the factory/professional look better...
Yea, I know. I'm thinking about yanking them. I'm still undecided if I like the screens, real or not. I know I don't like screens eveywhere, but in just the foglights....Hmmmmm?
I checked out the real one's w/ the housing. If I decide to go that route, I assume the existing foglight housing has to come out. Looks like a pain to get to.

Nope -- the screens just pop right in... I used Patches method of industrial strength velcro. Works great - Looks great!!

They look great! I am glad to see someone else is as crazy as me. I too had second thoughts about the screens and I don't mind spending the $$$ to buy the "Real ones" but this was just for fun! Now at least I know that I like the look of the screens (DIY or REAL) and maybe someday I will buy a set. But for now, I like them and I am leaving them in. I even made a set of Mag red ones to match the car! I will take some pics and post later...
I am so f**king irritated right now! I can't get the template to print out in anything resembling the right size...even with MS Paint. Someone help me before the neighbors worry about the screaming and yelling. Thanks.
I just cut some today from printing out of MS Paint. I have not fitted them to the car yet, got dark outside. When I get them to fit, I will take measurements and redo/adjust in a cad program and put it in MS Word/pdf or something so its easier in the future.
Sorry that doesnt help you now,
BTW, I didnt see the 5 pack of gutter screens everyone was talking about, I purchased 3 3 ft sections

Check your settings. In Paint, click on file, click on Page Setup. Make sure your size setting says 100%.
