FNG here, I've been searching the net, trying to find out where to buy a color matching top for my torch red C5. I've only got the clear/smoke colored top. I'm kinda afraid to find out because of the cost, I'm sure it's in the 'space shuttle' price range. Anybody got any ideas?

They occassionally can be found here in the for-sale section from ~$400 up, depending on condition. It'll take a little longer if you want a TR one rather than taking one that's a different color and having it painted.

I forgot to add that this top is from an '00 Torch Red coupe that I purchased in February 05 and as I said, it's never been used and in perfect condition. Let me know if you want pix....

o matter who you buy it from, I have seen several posts about them being damaged during shipping. If you can pick one up rather than have one shipped, it would sound like a safer way to go.

You can try Mid America, but to answer your question: Yes! They're fairly expensive..to the point where you can have a nice mod done to enhance the performance rather than the look...Your call my man! Keep your head up out there!!!!!

Check the for sale section of the forum - they pop up every now and then in that color. Just remember that there may be a slight color variation in any top you buy.
