Just found out about an outfit named "Warm Seats, Inc." They're using them in Vette Magazine. If you're one of those unfortunate people that live further north than the Mason-Dixon line, you might want to visit their site!
Incidentally, I have absolutely nothing to do with this outfit and can't personally recommend the product one way or the other. I just thought some people might be interested.
I recommend keeping a couple of white towels in the car and if you're out of the car for a while just spread the towels over your seats until you're ready to ride again. They will stay cool!

Wish they had something to COOL the seats down in summer when you have the top off!!
I'm with you. It was in the 80's today in Jersey and I was baking in my Trip Black (top down - but that didn't help). Theres probably a market for Vette Essentials if Ken can figure out a cool leather.
If memory serves me, there was a GP last year for the heated seat mod, that (I believe) got some pretty good response. Not a difficult install either.
You guys are in Conneticut and New Jersey for chrisakes! Try driving a black/black coupe in Georgia. My hand get burned when I grab the steering wheel!

If it's not snow, it's sun. I have to have something to whine about!
This also appears to be good place to get the heated seats. I cant speak for the product good or bad but thought i would post any way in case someone was interested.

P.S. sign me up for the air conditioned seats... I was melting today in the black coupe w/ the top off.
From: Biloxi MS Theres something happenin' here, What it is ain't exactly clear.....
My wife's Expedition has AC and Heated front seats.. the AC is a god-send!!!
After the 9 hr drive to Bowling Green a month ago, I started thinking of how to mod some C5 seats.
Low end: cut square holes, mount hard drive/processor quiet fans, cover with wire mesh strong enough to not bend inward on the fan blades. Sport seats already perforated for airflow.
High end: Mount a small radiator infront of the stock one, run lines, condenser, etc (cost prohibitive at this time to work out the details)
Wish they had something to COOL the seats down in summer when you have the top off!!
Can someone PLEASE come out with air conditioned seats. It would make driving in August pleasurable! I would think you need a way to pipe in the conditioned air from the dash. Maybe thru the center console? Is there room in there?
