Discolored underhood insulation
Ever since I added a K&N intake (I'm guessing) part of the intake is discoloring or scraping the insulation turning it white.....anything I can spray it with/paint it with?

The hood insulation will also turn white if water gets on it - it will leave a stain on there. You can use some black spray paint but it will probably take a few coats as the insulation will soak up the paint you put on. Plus, it may not look the best unless you spray the entire blanket.

If you want to clean it up
1. take it off by removing those black plastic things
2. get a can of black rustoleum and spray it down with a few good coats.
3. let it dry and put it back on.
4. repeat each year.
Infortunately it will wear again, but it will look good for a while...
