OHHHHH GRUMPY??? Want a hat????
Well, WOW, thanks to EVERYONE that contributed. We came close but the advantage was ttt427pacecar donated over 1000 of his money to our cause. Thanks TO EVERYONE, I'm sure I speak for Cor99vette and everyone that from St. Judes.
Thanks to ya'll, we came up with roughly 1800 bucks to win Grumpy's Hat back and donate to St. Judes Children's hospital.
I won't know the exact amount of the donations because a bunch of people sent in checks and money orders.
I'll check with Jesse to see how and where to send the money and it's over for now...
On a side note, I'll mention this once and drop it. To any vendors that felt insulted, I publically apologize. My intent was to spark some competition for a good cause.... it was NEVER to insinuate that you never donate. My apologies... I promise I meant no disrespect.

So, Mark...what are your plans for the hat?
It would be neat if it could get shipped around to all the people who donated to sign it, but not enough room on a hat for that.
I suggest finding a nice display case for it, and making a list of all the people who contributed on a large banner...something like the keg donation list that appeared on the beer trailer at CI-6. I'm sure GB could make up something nice if you provided a list of all the forum members. Then display it at CI-7 as a nice reminder of the fun, and a nice reminder for everyone to donate to St Jude's in future years.
You may have plans along those lines already, just tossing out an idea.

Well, actually, one of my thoughts was to ship it to everyone that donated and having them take a picture of it with them or a newspaper... or something to that effect.
Anyway, it's not about me... ya'll are the ones that pitched in made it possible. I was simply the middleman.
Without you guys, I mean EVERYONE, it would have never happened.
