Torque converter
As anyone used the torque converter from Eckler's that raises the stall 800 RPM over stock. what is a stock converter RPM. I putting it in a motor with about 400 RWHP are they good ones? $389.99 seams like a good price. Don't know what brand
High Stall converters (and torque multiplication) are a function of what your idle speed will be, what your torque & hp curves look like and your driving style. Driving style is the most important, IMHO.
According to almost everyone on this forum, you should have a 4000rpm stall so you can cut your 60foot times down.
I do not drag race and I HATE slip - but I have to get a stall (a mild one - Vigilante 2800) due to the gears/cam I have chosen.

I went to the track for the first time on Sunday and I am hooked. I was going with the above mods already but now I can't wait.
Thanks,
