Fender opening?

Fender opening?

I bought this 2002 coupe used.I was thinking about lowering it.
I just went out and used a tape and from the floor to the top fender opening is,the front is 27 3/4"and the rear is 28 3/4" Is that stock?
What is ours at?

27.5" front, 28.75" rear. Bought this 2000 used, so I don't know if this is stock, but I would guess it is.

Sounds like stock settings. If it were lowered, you would notice the stance being different from other C5's and there would not be a sizeable opening between the tire and the fender.
