My 2001 coupe turn signal indicator (instrument panel) has been flashing faster than usual. Yesterday, the left turn signal stop flashing completely followed by the right afterward. Checked the fuse and they are OK, when I start the car up again, the signal works fine except the panel indicator for right side will flash but not the actual turn signal light outside...any ideas what could have caused these sporadic problems? Thanks in advance.
if you cycle the emergency flashers on and off a few times, does it effect the turn signals in any way? I ask because many have had the emergency flasher switch go bad causing turn signal problems...
When both turn signal went dead, I turned on the emergency flasher and it worked for a few second then went dead also. After I checked the fuses and started the car again, both worked. I noticed that there is not a flasher module in the fuse box for the turn signal (may be I am stuck in earlier cars where they have one). Does the C5 has a flasher module or is ther something else like a gazzillon dollar part that is used instead of the 2 bucks flasher in other cars. Thanks for the response.
well,my 01 started that blinker thing recently too.then i read on here about how the flashers are tied in with the blinkers and that it's BIG BUCKS to fix,and they need to rip up the dash. So,when it happens now,i push the emergency flasher button for a minute or two, then they work good again.
